Job Description
As a Senior Human Resources Coordinator at Stryten Energy, you will be responsible for driving culture and making a meaningful impact in our organization. You will work closely with employees and management to foster a positive work environment, ensuring that all administrative and operational functions run smoothly. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring local, state, and federal laws and regulations for changes affecting the site.
- Collaborating with HQ HR team to implement necessary changes for compliance.
- Identifying areas for improvement within the HR function and leading projects to implement new processes.
- Leading new employee recruiting and onboarding process, including pre-screening applications, requesting background checks, preparing and processing new hire paperwork, conducting new hire orientations, and other related tasks as needed.
- Engaging in the development of hourly employees through training, coaching, and mentoring plant employees for improved performance.
- Facilitating 30, 60, and 90-day reviews for hourly operation employees.
- Acting as backup for Human Resources Manager, exercising discretion and independent judgment in employee-related matters.
- Providing support and resources to employees throughout the leave of absence process.
- Performing entries, updates, and status changes of employee information in the HRIS and timekeeping systems.
- Supporting management staff in achieving their business goals by assisting with various reports from the HRIS and analytics tools.
- Maintaining attendance records for all hourly employees, issuing and tracking attendance warnings as required.
- Coordinating and executing employee engagement events and special meetings, such as volunteer opportunities and celebrating service anniversaries.
- Attending meetings as assigned, taking, preparing, and posting minutes.
- Providing general HR information to all employees based on established practices and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate employee records.
- Interfacing directly with all levels of Management and employees.
- Coordinating with staffing agencies for placement of temporary employees as needed.
- Supporting plant activities, such as 5S, LPA's, Gemba, and Safety, including participating in audits.
- Performing other miscellaneous duties essential to the job.
