Position: EHS Manager
Location: Georgetown area
Industry leading manufacturing company is seeking a Manager in Environmental Health and Safety to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing manufacturing plant into an accident free environment according to health and safety disciplines.
- Day shift - flexible hours (7-4, or 8-5)
- Could take after hours calls regarding EHS
- 2 direct reports - 1 Safety Specialist and 1 Environmental Specialist.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, or environmental engineering
- Experience managing and developing EHS professionals
- 3 years with EHS in manufacturing
- Knowledge of federal safety regulations - OSHA
You should be proficient in:
- Leadership / People Management
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
- Machine Safety Inspections
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
