Position Overview:
Maintains quality standards by inspecting and statusing in-production process and finished products; recording quality results.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Inspects material after forging (hot inspection), after cutting, outside processing, and inspects the final product to confirming specifications; conducts visual and measurement tests using micrometers, calipers and other weighing and measuring tools; records inspection results to quality manager, on inspection report and on computer program; ensures quality standards; properly stencils metal using stenciling equipment; adheres to personal and facility safety procedures and practices. Other duties as required.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be able to closely follow instructions.
- Must be able to communicate, verbally and written, with managers and coworkers.
- Must have good basic math skills and computer skills.
- Must be able to read blueprints, micrometers, calipers, and other weighing and measuring tools.
- Must maintain quality practices and safety standards.
- Must be forklift operations and safety certified.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
