STS Technical Services is hiring a Non-Conforming Material (NCM) Lead for the night shift in York, Pennsylvania . This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and optimizing workflow efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage an NCM team , providing guidance, motivation, and support.
- Ensure safety policies and standard work procedures are followed.
- Oversee inventory management , maintaining records and advising on stock needs.
- Set expectations, track NCM metric inputs , and ensure team adherence to performance goals.
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members.
- Communicate deadlines, goals, and performance expectations across the team.
- Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence .
- Maintain 5S organization principles , ensuring workspaces meet company standards.
- Act as a liaison between supervisors, suppliers, and team members , resolving inquiries and escalations effectively.
- Generate reports on team performance, objectives, and continuous improvement initiatives .
- Provide support to the NCM Supervisor and step in during their absence.
