This role involves processing new ADs using the ADAPT system, coordinating airworthiness directive handling from inception to completion, conducting routine audits on AD records and compliance documents for accuracy and completeness, and providing daily monitoring of ADs, including weekends. The position also includes thorough AD research and monitoring using the Workbench records keeping system, and providing comprehensive reviews of aircraft AD records for FAA DCT audits and newly acquired or previously owned aircraft. Familiarity with various industry audits such as IATA, IOSA, DOD, and FAA audits is required.

Responsibilities
- Provide daily monitoring, reviews, and compliance of all applicable ADs.
- Conduct audits on newly issued ADs and reviews of previously accomplished ADs on aircraft, engines, and appliances.
- Perform department self-audits as required.
- Interpret ADs, Engineering, AMOC, OEM specifications, Service Letters, Service Bulletins, Maintenance manuals, IPC, and wiring diagrams.
- Process new ADs using the ADAPT system and coordinate airworthiness directive handling from inception to completion.
- Conduct routine audits on AD records and compliance documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide thorough AD research and monitoring using the Workbench records keeping system.
- Provide comprehensive review of aircraft AD records for FAA DCT audits and newly acquired or previously owned aircraft.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Technology, or Management.
- Seven (7) years of professional transport air carrier experience in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Quality Assurance Planning involving large multi-engine aircraft.
- Experience in the inspection of transport category aircraft and maintenance documentation for airworthiness and regulatory concerns under FAR Part 121 and Part 39 requirements.
- Experience interacting with various levels of the FAA including the FSDO/CMO and ACO branches.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
- Experience interpreting ADs, AMOCs, engineering documents, WIC, OEM specifications, and FAA regulatory documents.
- Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.
- Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Adept planning, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong familiarity with 14CFR 121 and Part 39 requirements.
- Ability to work unsupervised, or with minimal supervision, with various levels of airline management, the FAA, and external customers, using acquired experience, diplomacy, and good judgment to accomplish the assignment.
