Job Summary

STS Technical Services is hiring a Receiving Specialist in Ridgeland, South Carolina to oversee the receipt, inspection, and documentation of materials and goods at our manufacturing facility . This role ensures accurate tracking, inventory control, and compliance with quality standards. If you have 2-4 years of experience in a receiving or warehouse environment , this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips for accuracy.
• Inspect received materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisors.
• Record and label received items , ensuring proper documentation for inventory tracking.
• Maintain detailed receiving reports , documenting quantities, conditions, and relevant data.
• Update inventory systems to reflect accurate stock levels and received goods.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy access and inventory integrity.
• Perform quality checks to confirm compliance with standards.
• Report discrepancies or quality concerns to the appropriate departments for resolution.
• Follow all safety protocols when handling materials and operating equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices for receiving and inventory management.
