Your Role as Project Manager
As a Project Manager, you will be our clients' first point of contact, embodying our firm's commitment to excellence and professionalism. Your role will involve driving technical projects to successful completion while ensuring that scope, schedule, and budget are adhered to. You'll be a mentor to colleagues, guiding them as they develop within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development :
Lead in crafting proposals and estimates, delivering them to clients.
Client Relationship Management :
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact to assess and deliver on project requirements.
Project Planning and Execution :
Lead interactive planning sessions, create detailed work plans, and coordinate with staff for seamless project execution.
Expectation Management :
Balance the needs and interests of both clients and our organization, ensuring clear communication and management of expectations.
Team Coordination :
Facilitate a positive team environment, focusing on solutions and coordinating cross-discipline teams.
Quality Assurance :
Ensure quality assurance and standard operating procedures are followed throughout project execution
Progress Monitoring :
Regularly update project forecasts, monitor progress, and manage staff to achieve project deliverables.
Closeout and Documentation :
Ensure thorough project closeout and document turnover to clients.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in a similar project management role.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in presenting to and communicating effectively with clients.
- Previous experience in engineering consulting, oil & gas, Chemical or the renewable energy industry.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to engage with diverse audiences.
