Studebaker Electric, Inc. is hiring a Junior Estimator to join our well-rounded team. Your role will be assisting the estimating team through performing material, labor, and equipment take-offs, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for quotes, and organizing bid packages.
Applicants should be eager to learn about underground electrical construction, must have technical proficiency, excellent organization skills and be able to take direction from others. We are willing to train!
Responsibilities and Duties
· Be available 40hrs a week for an in-office work environment, this job does not allow any remote work options.
· Analyze plans and specifications and ensure all documents are organized.
· Perform take-offs in Bluebeam for our Chief Estimator.
. Request quotes from subcontractors and suppliers and verify accuracy when they are received.
· Organize and prepare bid packages.
· Assist with pre-bid Requests for Information (RFI’s).
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
· Candidates must be proficient in computer skills and comfortable using spreadsheets.
· Seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or Accounting/Finance is a plus.
· Applicable internships and field experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
