Program Coordinator
The Student Conservation Association is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Massachusetts Conservation Corps (MACC). The Coordinator will work in a full-time, hybrid staff position, working 10 months per year.
The salary range for this position is $1,923 - $2,115 bi-weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure technical, logistical, and administrative tasks associated with executing SCA's programs in the MACC portfolio are completed.
- Supervise Project Leaders and Members, providing training and skills development in areas such as trail construction, habitat management, and tool use.
- Manage tools, equipment, and vehicles, including budget accountability and purchasing.
- Represent SCA at external partner and community engagements.
Project Planning & Delivery:
- Serve as the primary liaison for project scheduling and management.
- Assess project and environmental risks to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to provide technical advice and support.
Training & Skills Development:
- Train Corps Members and Project Leaders in program service activities.
- Assist with curriculum development, documentation, and implementation.
Collaboration & Support:
- Develop relationships with community partners and assist with administrative duties.
- Facilitate regular evaluations of Project Leaders and Corps Members.
Requirements:
- Ability to travel regularly for program purposes.
- Experience with tool and equipment maintenance.
- Prior experience supervising others in an outdoor setting.
