We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Terrestrial Ecosystem Restoration Technician to join our team at Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Site in Alaska. In this role, you will contribute to the protection and preservation of our nation's natural treasures by working collaboratively with biologists and natural resource managers to conduct surveys, monitor, and control invasive terrestrial plant species.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in fieldwork, data collection, and teamwork, while working closely with community partners and volunteers to promote environmental stewardship.
This position requires occasional overnight travel and camping to access remote areas within the park. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, analyzing data, and preparing reports to support our conservation efforts.
