Position: Partnership Manager, New York
Partnership Manager supports Study Smart Tutors’ efforts in growing its services to school districts, educational institutes, state departments, and universities. The position will be responsible for direct outreach, including phone calls, emails and school visits, to new and returning clients, and attending virtual and in-person events and conferences.
Job Responsibilities
Business Development (90%)
Develop lists of schools and districts in the target markets.
Outreach to district directors, school administrators or similar decision makers to create pathways for new sales
Develop strategic partnerships with district leaders
Create a professional and engaging first impression with our prospects and customers
Accurately enter, update, and maintain prospect information in Salesforce
Generate new business through outbound prospecting
Provide client support before/during/after implementation
Conduct discovery calls to identify customer requirements and expectations in order to make tailored product recommendations
Proactively seek new business opportunities with leads and outbound sales development activities
Up to 25% travel is required to attend local and national conferences and
events, as well as weekly site visits/drop-ins
Day to day tasks Include:
Pre-call research and planning
Cold and warm calling
Follow-up with previous contacts
Maintaining and renewing previous customers
Utilizing Salesforce
Work closely with sales and marketing team to develop strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
Other Duties (10%)
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
The Partnership Manager will use email and phone communication to establish and build relationships with potential partners.
The Partnership Manager is a fully remote position and will report directly to the Sr. Partnership Manager in the New York/New Jersey region.
Qualifications
2 Years in similar sales/business development role in education field
Experience in public education space is preferred
Bachelor’s Degree
Ability to quickly develop relationships and establish credibility through consultative needs-based conversations
Ability to think on your feet to creatively solve our customer business needs
Exceptional and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Salesforce software
Ability to visit clients in region and attend conferences on as-needed basis
Willingness to take direction and execute tasks independently

Salary: Base Salary: $70,000/year | On-Target Earnings Potential: $120,000 | Earn up to $300,000 !
