The COO will be responsible for managing the operations of Sturos CPA. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and lead our firm’s operations with a great deal of independence. We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced manager who thrives on making impactful decisions and has a knack for supporting both team development and client relationships. WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our firm, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Work closely with the managing shareholder to set and review management goals on an annual basis, and provide regular updates on progress each month.
• Serve as a key link between management and team members, as well as between our accounting and administrative staff, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Manage workflow to ensure a balanced workload across our tax / accounting and administrative teams.
• Take charge of all human resources functions, including hiring and recruiting, to build and maintain a strong and motivated team.
• Keep a close eye on the firm’s financial health, handling pricing, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
• Oversee our internal technology, including managing our outsourced IT services to ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Review tax returns as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.
