Job Description:
This Transportation Intern role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals to join our team and contribute to meaningful projects. As a member of our Transportation Team, you will work on various projects, including public transit, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, roadway, bridge projects, and other large private and public structures.
The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications using industry-standard software. They will also format reports and specifications to support project documentation, as well as support file management of project electronic documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drawings and Specifications: Assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications using industry-standard software.
- Document Support: Format reports and specifications to support project documentation.
- File Organization: Support file management of project electronic documents.
- Organizational Exposure: Gain practical experience and broad exposure to STV's organizational structure through diverse assignments.
Education and Qualifications:
- Civil Engineering Degree: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Software Expertise: Familiarity with Open Roads and/or MicroStation software.
- Industry Background: Experience in the architecture/engineering/construction management industry.
