What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer (Building Design) position at STV?
STV has an immediate opening for a Structural Engineer (Building Design) to join our growing team out of our New York office as part of the Buildings Division! This is a great opportunity for an individual to work on exciting projects as part of a team of dedicated engineers.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging projects, which will include tasks such as the design of a variety of new structures including buildings, transit stations, retaining walls, and other miscellaneous structures; analysis of existing structures; review and / or production of construction submittals; and review of contract plans for conformance with established design criteria.
This position also offers a flexible career path with opportunities to pursue a technical track with increasing design and leadership responsibilities or to grow into a project management role.
Responsibilities :
- Preparing design calculations for buildings and other structures.
- Developing structural and other drawings through Revit and AutoCAD software packages for buildings and other structures.
- Producing design related reports.
- Reviewing shop drawings and other construction submittals.

102,271.92 - $136,362.56
