Subaru Superstore of Surprise, our family owned and operated automotive dealership is seeking a results-focused, highly driven, current and experienced Automotive General Sales Manager to grow our dealership to the next level. Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced General Sales Manager with at least 3 years of leadership experience in a dealership management position. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales and finance, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the Sales Team, including Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and Sales Associates.
- Ensure team members meet business and productivity goals while enhancing profitability and efficiency.
- Model company values to create a positive and motivating workplace environment.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to managers and employees on best practices in the industry.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and referrals.
- Enhance the dealership's community presence through active engagement and excellent customer service.
- Respond to customer complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved
- Determine new and used inventory levels to be carried based in customer and market analysis
- Conduct weekly sales meetings
- Manage daily operations, recommend and create improved course of action where necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a dealership management position.
- Experience in both sales and finance is required.
- Proven ability to lead and build effective teams.
- Strong commitment to working collaboratively with leadership and employees to achieve goals.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive sales and finance operations and business processes.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Results-oriented with strong planning, organizational, and execution skills.
Outstanding communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with both customers and employees.
