Position Overview
- To support the OCTE (Open Circuit Test Equipment) system test area. NMS testing, electronics system packs assembly, and test. Test Data compilation and analysis.
- Mechanical and Electronics assembly design.
- The intern will be reporting to Test Engineering and Quality.
- Learn the Assembly and Testing methodology of circuit packs and complete a project that will provide improvement to a process in the area
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Understanding of basic electronics/mechanical functions and applications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is needed.
- Understanding of some basic programming skills (Linux, Matlab, pro E or C language)
- Understanding of statistical data compilation using Excel is needed.
- Willingness to learn and document product issues and troubleshooting.
- Candidate should be in their junior or sophomore year studying in an engineering discipline: Computer engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical engineering.
- Willingness to work as a team.
- The intern should be able to read and understand supplier quality documentation.
