What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator position at Substance Abuse Center of Kansas Inc?
Substance Abuse Center of Kansas is in search of a group facilitator for Winfield Correctional Facility. This work involves teaching and modeling life skills, emotional regulation, social skills, problem solving and connecting people to recovery upon release from prison. The position will require group facilitation skills documentation with online systems and working knowledge of Microsoft OneDrive and Outlook. Human service education or customer service experience is preferred. Pay can range from $17-18 based on experience and education. Initial and ongoing training will be provided for group materials and KDOC systems/policies/procedures.
Preferred Skills: Group facilitation, customer service, community resources and recovery-oriented systems of care knowledge.
Education Requirements: GED, Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
Background Checks: KDOC approval required, Driver’s license
Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week, Some evening availability required
