Currently searching for a qualified Sales/ Collections Support Representative with experience as an admissions coordinator in substance abuse treatment. While admissions coordinator experience is preferred, experience in substance abuse treatment and sales is acceptable. The position will be part of a small, close-knit group of employees in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone with exceptional communication, organizational, and MS Office skills.

Job Responsibilities:
* Understanding private insurance and verification of benefits and efficiently explaining necessary finances/insurance benefits to a client/guarantor over the phone.
*Establishing a relationship with the client or the guarantor, openly discussing the client’s financial responsibility and all necessary information from the guarantor to draft agreements. Follow up on payment plans when necessary.
*Maintain HIPAA and be able to conduct communication with hospital staff.
* Identify accounts with overdue billing and contact them or the responsible party for payment.
* Document and follow up on all interactions with clients, as needed.
* Process customer payments using online credit card terminals.
* Reconcile and identify accounts requiring adjustments and refunds when appropriate.
* Provide reports to the area manager.
Qualifications:
- At least a minimum of a year’s experience as an admissions coordinator in substance abuse treatment. Knowledge of various computer software applications: (Salesforce, Kipu, Microsoft Word, Outlook.)
Proven sales background and professionalism in all facets of communication
Dependability / Honesty / Integrity
- Knowledge of MAT Treatment or detox is a plus
- Must be a team player that is willing to accept and promote goals with minimal supervision and can assist and support others
- Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
- Ability to handle stressful situations and interact well with others
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
