What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Assistant position at SUBURBAN ADULT SERVICES INC.?
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Review, scan, and upload documents to server base location(s).
- Be the point of contact for vendors for scheduling of inspections and preventative maintenance. Notify our locations of scheduled vendor visits.
- Generate Purchase Requisitions for Facilities team members to be reviewed by the Director of Facilities.
- Work with SASI’s Purchasing & Procurement Clerk to order supplies and contact vendors for projects.
- Produce and/or maintain documents and spreadsheets.
- Bridge any clerical gaps needed between the business office, maintenance technicians, and facility management, all while fostering a supportive work environment that encourages professional development
- Responsible for developing and monitoring a preventive maintenance schedule and completes reports, as needed.
- Travel to assigned locations as needed

Required Qualification:
- High school or equivalency diploma.
- Three (3) years full time experience in data management.
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office products, Internet, and email.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in ordering supplies through online sources
