The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned include working with operations staff to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate to guests preferred.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, replacing required supplies and ensuring hotel's established standards of cleanliness are met
- Vacuum carpets and cleans windows
- Make beds daily with clean linens
- Ensure carts are stocked with cleaning and room supplies
- Complete daily section report as instructed by supervisor
- Complete assignment sheets
- Provide assistance to co-workers and guests as needed
- Acknowledge and greet guests immediately when passing in the hall and elevator
- Perform other necessary duties upon request
- Report all maintenance problems to supervisor
- Turn in lost and found items immediately to the supervisor
- Report all guest accidents and associate injuries to a supervisor immediately
- Notify supervisor of any guest complaints or comments
- Arrive in proper clean and pressed uniform with nametag
- Must be aware and practice all emergency and safety procedures
