The Role - Account Manager
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team! In this role, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, building strong relationships while driving growth and ensuring their needs are met. With your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail, you’ll manage client accounts, deliver tailored solutions, and help elevate customer satisfaction to new heights. What You'll Do
- Developing an accurate, detailed, and comprehensive written strategy and account plan for each strategic account.
- Constantly educate and reinforce how Suburban’s services translate into value and benefits for strategic accounts.
- Being highly responsive when called upon to address individual needs or opportunities, internally and externally.
- Facilitating relationship between strategic account leadership and Suburban personnel.
- Coordinating account initiatives with pre-construction and operations teams; plan and lead meetings to lay out action plans with all key stakeholders including Suburban senior leaders.
- Participating in relevant industry groups, organizations, business journals, government regulation, and trade shows to stay abreast of market insights and help expose higher thinking and competitive advantage.
- Preparing and facilitates presentations to diverse audiences, including owners, C-level, general contractors, engineers, and architects, adapting to personality differences and various levels of technical comprehension.
- Supporting monthly forecasting and annual strategic planning process by evaluation of selected accounts and associated opportunities.
- Aiding in accurate invoicing, change orders, and collections.
- Negotiating payment terms and reduced retention prior to contract engagement.
- Successfully transitioning project details from pre-construction to field operations functions.
- Achieve sales targets and measures the effectiveness of all sales efforts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
What You Bring (Required Experience)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
Bonus Points For (Preferred Experience)
- 5 years in account management/sales position or relevant experience.
- Experience in the Electrical, Technology, Automation, or Fabrication field.
