Automotive BDC Representative – Internet & Phone Sales
Location: Vernon, Connecticut
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule Requirements: Must be available to work Saturdays, rotating Sundays, weeknights until 6 PM, and holidays.
Job Summary:
Suburban Subaru is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused BDC Representative – Internet & Phone Sales to join our team! In this role, you will assist customers in their vehicle purchase journey through phone, email, text, and online channels. If you have a passion for customer service, strong communication skills, and a drive for results, we want to hear from you!
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated annual earnings: $45,000 – $65,000 per year
Hourly pay (bi-weekly) commission (monthly, based on sales performance)

Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, text, and online platforms
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle by providing product knowledge and guidance
- Follow up with potential customers to promote dealership offers and encourage sales
- Maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance goals
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Stay updated on Suburban Subaru’s products, promotions, and industry trends
- Work collaboratively with sales, service, and finance teams to provide top-tier customer service
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or sales (automotive industry preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in CRM systems, email, and other digital communication tools
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to work remotely when needed (must have computer and internet access)
