Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, utilizing the POS system for processing orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including bussing tables and cleaning workstations.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- A passion for food preparation and a willingness to learn new skills in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
