Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, slicers, and toasters.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and promote menu items through upselling techniques.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of food is served.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
