Job Description
We are seeking motivated recent graduates to join our team as educators in New York City's top-performing network of K-12 charter schools. As an educator at Success Academy, you will be responsible for managing a classroom of 20 scholars, providing timely feedback and support to help students improve, and maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy (a background in education is not required)
- The ability to work in person in New York City
- A passion for content, particularly literature, science, history, and/or math
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively
- Emotional intelligence, with strong instincts for building trusting relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
