Job Description:
HS Teacher will join a dedicated team focused on providing a rigorous and enriching education to students from low-income neighborhoods. You will receive extensive training and support to develop your teaching skills while fostering meaningful relationships with students and families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction to students in grades 9-12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve student outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree before start date
- Relevant academic major (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering)
- Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations)
- Passion for content area
- Planning and organizational skills
- Emotional intelligence
