What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asst. SUD Program Manager position at SUD - HYPE?
This position is reserved for an individual with a Bachelors (or higher) degree in a Human Services related field.. Must possess minimal knowledge and experience in substance use and mental health related areas. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate strong leadership skills, be efficient with computer utilization, be assertive and effective communicators, and have an understanding of innovation and productivity in program functionality and operational domains. This individual must demonstrate HYPE’s core values and expectations with the department mission and vision in mind, specifically effective communication, and innovation. Lastly, this role must be filled by someone who is skilled in managing a diverse population with varying skill sets and personalities, in a healthy and productive manner, while establishing and maintaining both rapport and respect within the culture.
The Asst. SUD Program Manager will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Communicating directly with the Clinical Supervisor/Program Director, and providing weekly updates of the clinical team
- Preparing new client information for weekly staffing
- Monitoring client attendance and reporting to billing
- Tracking of all incoming and discharging participants
- Verification of notes and reports for all clients on a weekly basis
- Managing low level staff/client concerns, crisis, behavioral issues, noncompliance, etc.
- Provide clinical team training on a monthly basis
- Facilitate orientation/training tasks for New Hires
- Management of the site in the absence of Program Director
- Facilitating PHP/IOP groups as needed
Salary/Shift
$55,000 - $60,000
M-Th 8 am - 4 pmAND Friday 9 am - 5 pm
Salary is dependent on Degree, Experience, and Supervision Needs (CSAC, LPC, LCSW)
