If you have availability on the weekends for a permanent part time job, look no further! A Lincoln Park condominium high-rise community with nearly 300 units is hiring for customer service and task-oriented candidates for a weekend door person.
In addition, said candidate would have the opportunity to pick up janitor shifts as needed.
A door staff is a customer service-oriented position. A janitor staff is a task-oriented position. Starting hourly salary $18.35/hour, which is full union scale. The ideal candidate will be able to perform both jobs adequately with a positive and hardworking attitude. The job will consist of, but is not limited to the following:
Door Staff Duties
1. Greet and identify residents and guests of the building.
2. Handle incoming and outgoing packages with high accuracy and efficiency.
3. Monitor security cameras and ensure security protocols within and around the property.
4. Multi-task with answer phones, intercom, and computer systems simultaneously.
Janitor Staff Duties
1. Clean building floors by mopping, scrubbing, sweeping and vacuuming.
2. Waste removal and disposal of recycling materials, trash and waste.
3. Follow task lists and work independently in an efficient and responsible manner.
4. Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemical usages for different janitorial duties.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Basic reading, writing and verbal communication skills necessary to complete tasks and work independently.
Experience:
Work history with experience in hospitality or residential property industries preferred.
Physical Requirements: These positions demand good mental and physical health. Successful candidates must be able to lift packages and equipment up to 50 pounds.
