SITE MANAGER (FAST TRACK)

Sudzy Salmon Car Wash – Anchorage and Mat-Su Valley, Alaska

We provide a first-class car wash experience with an Alaskan touch.

Our carwash company is growing with new locations opening soon in and around the greater Anchorage area! We’re looking for a full-time site manager with the ability to serve our guests in a fast-paced environment and desire to grow in the knowledge and skills to successfully develop our operations team. Our newest site manager will begin with on-the-job training with our teams at our Sudzy Salmon Car Wash locations in Eagle River, Wasilla, and Palmer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a consistently great customer experience for all guests and the highest wash quality.
• Manage and oversee day-to-day operations, facilitate budget, and align practices to the Sudzy Salmon’s vision, values, and policies.
• Inspire others and build a dynamic, strong team through effective interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating of associates and assistant managers.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, safe, and inviting car wash facility and property.
• Utilize checklists effectively and maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to operations, human resources, preventative maintenance, inventory, and safety; collect and enter data and photo/video documentation into a computer system.
• Work under routine and urgent conditions, both indoors and outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.
• Ensure a safe work environment and proper use of personal protective equipment by team.
• Build positive relationships with community partners, vendors, and other Sudzy Salmon location teams.
• Make good decisions to resolve issues quickly and appropriately.
• Perform other operations, maintenance and car wash site care duties, as needed or requested.

Qualifications & Skills:

• At least 2 years of successful management experience in the carwash industry and/or other customer service industry; carwash experience preferred, but not required; some college preferred, but not required; industry certifications preferred
• Confidence and desire to work with people to facilitate team member development, create “faster, cleaner, and more fun” experiences for guests, and grow unlimited club memberships
• Goal-orientation, a strong work ethic, and abilities to troubleshoot, multi-task, and prioritize goals and tasks
• Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn a point-of-sale system and a variety of applications (Google Workspace, Zoom, and some Microsoft Office) on both Apple and PC devices
• Experience in operating a variety of equipment and tools and willingness to learn new mechanical skills
• Ability to maintain clear, professional, and transparent communication, both verbally and in writing
• Willingness to abide by our neat appearance standards and ability to pass a background check
• Availability to work a flexible schedule based on location, project, and training requirements
• Willingness to travel periodically (0% to 10%)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Physical Demands: Ability to continuously stand or walk for prolonged periods; ability to balance, bend, squat, climb stairs, climb ladders of various sizes, reach, and lift frequently (lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally); must be able to use hands and fingers to communicate, operate, handle, and use controls, equipment, and tools; sense of smell is occasionally required; vision must be sufficient to see details up close and must have the ability to focus.
