Floral Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and design, with the ability to create stunning arrangements that meet our customers' needs. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and an eye for aesthetics. As a Floral Designer, you will work closely with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life through beautiful floral creations.

Duties

• Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday celebrations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their preferences.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral workspace and display areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
• Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill e-commerce orders and prepare deliveries.
• Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to continuously improve design skills.
• Assist with landscape maintenance and lawn care as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in floral design or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with cash handling and POS systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of garden care, landscape maintenance, or e-commerce platforms is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
