Floral Designer

Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of floral design principles and have the ability to create stunning arrangements for various occasions. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their floral needs and preferences.
• Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems for transactions, including cash handling.
• Maintain an organized workspace that reflects the quality of our brand.
• Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines efficiently.
• Stay updated on floral design trends and techniques to continually improve offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floral design techniques, color theory, and composition.
• Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for effective inventory management.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
