Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Grants Writer at the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department in Boston, MA. The Grants Writer will be responsible for grant administration, proposal writing, prospect research, grant writing, fundraising, and other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Grant Administration and Grant Writing skills
- Proposal Writing and Fundraising experience
- Ability to conduct Prospect Research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Nonprofit Management or English
- Experience working in a similar role in a nonprofit or government organization is a plus
