Transit Road Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Interact with drivers, Road Observations, and Pre-Trip Observations  

• Conduct Accident investigations and reporting 

• Maintain BAITFISH Certification and Reasonable Suspicion certification 

• Uniform compliance 

• Safety Sensitive job function –part of the Random Drug & Alcohol pool     

• Held accountable to tardiness, absenteeism and a professional appearance  

• Comprehend the Dispatcher function. Assist and support control of dispatch when requested 

• Liaison between company and the county 

• Facilitate Safety presentations, and assist with Sensitivity classes 

• Flexible hours based on the operating needs of the business – understanding our operation runs 7-days a week  

• Video Audios, Homeland Security Audits, MBC Compliance, Speed Audits [Zonar], Property Line Audits  

• Ability to work autonomously with little supervision while remaining safe and productive   

• Prepare weekly planner 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Driver experience in public transportation  

• Clean driver’s license 

• Computer Skills: Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook 

• Ability to motivate and set example for drivers 

• Strong map skills; familiarity with routing. 

• Ability to multitask 

• Understands confidentiality  

• Established level of trust  

• Exceptional Safety Record  

• Strong organization and interpersonal skills 

• Presents self professionally to the customer 

• Understands, encourages, and carries out the principles of safety management
