What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lift Maintenance Electrician - Level 3 Advanced position at SUGAR BOWL SKI RESORT?
Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for a Level 3 Lift Electrician who is responsible for ensuring safe and reliable uphill transportation of our guests onto our slopes and for actively participating in our team’s growth and improvement. This position develops and trains Level 1 & 2 mechanics and electricians, while performing tasks with the highest integrity. - Extensive set of tools
- Be competent in using a multi-meter and oscilloscope for analysis and troubleshooting
- Able to align lift machinery (motor, gearbox, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ANSI codes pertaining to ski lifts, familiarity with general industry OSHA regulations
What you will do
- Daily Inspections and startup procedures during operation
- Strong trouble shooting skills
- Performing almost all electrical tasks without supervision and supervising others in the performance of the same
- High level of ability to train others
- Assist with development of job hazard assessments, training procedures, etc., ensuring safety is at the forefront, and helping to document and continuously improve lift maintenance procedures and protocols
- High level of familiarity with CA State Inspection procedures
- Capable of supervising the lift maintenance crew in supervisor’s absence
- Detailed attention to safety and holding others accountable for safety procedures
- Engage in all applicable meetings
