What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lift Maintenance Mechanic - Level 3 Advanced position at SUGAR BOWL SKI RESORT?
Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for a Level 3 Lift Mechanic who is responsible for ensuring safe and reliable uphill transportation of our guests onto our slopes and for actively participating in our team’s growth and improvement. This position develops and trains Level 1 & 2 mechanics and electricians, while performing tasks with the highest integrity. What you will do
- Able to meet all level 2 qualifications
- Strong trouble shooting skills
- High level of familiarity with the B77 code and CA State Inspection procedures.
- Able to rig a lift for splice and perform other complicated rigging safely.
- Able to align lift machinery (motor, gearbox, etc.).
- Expert in hydraulic systems used in ski lifts.
- Able to perform almost all mechanical tasks without supervision and to supervise others in the performance of the same.
- High level of ability to train others.
- High level of familiarity with CA State Inspection procedures.
- Extensive set of tools.
- Level 2 MT NDT Certification
- Capable of supervising the lift maintenance crew in supervisor’s absence.
- Engage in all applicable meetings
