Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for a Snow Removal Senior Operator to operate snow removal equipment in a safe and efficient manner to remove snow from roads and parking lots.

Who you are
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience operating heavy equipment.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a sometimes high stress, fast paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with other departments.
- Able to start and complete routine job tasks with limited supervision.
- Must consider courtesy and safety high priorities.
- Be willing and able to provide excellent customer service to all people at all times.
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
What you will do
- Be familiar with and follow Sugar Bowl policies and procedures.
- Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, blowers, truck blowers, sand trucks and graders.
- Connect hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkage to machinery to raise, lower, tilt blades and scoops.
- Conduct daily maintain of equipment, check fluid levels, grease, etc. and maintain tire chains
- Perform minor repairs on equipment when necessary to continue operations.
- Availability to work weekends & holidays, especially if it is snowing.
- During most storms, you will be required to work the graveyard shift to ensure that the roads and parking lots are cleared and ready for business in the morning.
- Prevent damage to equipment, people and facilities. Rigorously practice the 3’ Rule.
- Ensure all equipment inspection sheets are completed prior to and at the end of each shift.
- Assist other departments when required, e.g. Parking.
