DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Supports employee training programs by managing schedules, registrations, attendance, and communication between trainers and staff. Maintaining training records, preparing reports, and assisting with logistics. Coordinate and assist with the creation of new or updated training materials. Troubleshooting issues related to the learning management system (LMS) and providing administrative support to the learning and development teams.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
No unusual physical requirements. Physical requirements are consistent with typical HR Specialist positions, including mostly sitting with some standing/walking required. Other light physical activity like using stairs or occasionally moving items weighing less than 15lbs may be required as needed. Some travel may be required in between plants.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Some travel to other locations is required.
Most work is performed in a comfortable, indoor, office-like facility. Very little work is performed in an indoor, manufacturing facility with close proximity to heavy and hazardous machinery. Safety wear is required, including hard hat, hairnet, hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toe boots, coats and other necessary equipment. Very little work is performed outside of the manufacturing facility.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Upload, configure, and ensure functionality of training courses into our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Administer employee enrollments in the LMS, including adding/removing employees from courses and learning plans, configuring training schedules, and assigning course deadlines.
- Develop training material with additional language support.
- Create and configure training assessments for eLearning courses that suitably evaluate learner comprehension on course subject matter
- Track overall progress on training by generating and analyzing reports
- Monitor system performance within our LMS and troubleshoot technical issues
- Assist the CDM with planning, designing, and developing both eLearning training modules and instructor lead training - including compliance, onboarding, Daily Associate Training (DAT), and skills training.
- Assist the CDM by collaborating with SMEs to evaluate training needs
- Assist the CDM in reviewing learner feedback and administering training revisions for the purposes of continuous improvement
- Assist with training needs from sister companies.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.
- Follow Sugarcreek rules and procedures.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
