Salon Receptionist

Sugar & Glow is a sugaring hair removal salon with three locations in Southern California; the salons are located in Anaheim, Downey, and Long Beach. We are fast-paced, fun and inclusive.

We are looking for a professional salon receptionist to join our team at Sugar & Glow. You will be managing our online booking platform for clients, answering phone calls, checking in and out clients, and opening or closing the salon.

As receptionist, you will be responsible to greet clients and make them feel as welcome as possible since you are the first and last face they will see during their visit. You will also answer customers' inquiries about salon services and products and help keep salon operations running smoothly by keeping on top of the scheduled appointment times.

You will be the primary point of contact between the salon clients and the salon team. You should be capable of managing customers with respect, and professionalism at all times. We are looking for someone who enjoys building friendly relationships with clients and genuinely enjoys customer service.

Responsibilities listed but not limited to:

• Greet customers in person and on the phone.
• Confirm appointments of customers by phone.
• Reschedule, cancel, or book clients during work hours.
• Answer inquiries of clients regarding the services, products, and schedule.
• Open and close salon as well as the register.
• Keep track of product inventory daily.
• Keep salon cleanliness up to state board standards.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation and ability to work at least two locations
• Availability to work both weekdays and weekends
• Speak fluent in English and Spanish
• One year experience in customer service, hospitality, or reception

Nice to have:

• Be able to cover last minute shifts if needed
• Receptionist experience
