We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Financial Strategy to lead the financial strategy and analysis for our portfolio of operating companies. Based in our Seattle office, this role combines responsibilities for financial strategy and analysis with operational business leadership, working closely with business team leaders and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have investment banking expertise, strong financial analysis capabilities, and broad business acumen with general accounting knowledge and strong communication skills. This position will drive strategic financial leadership, analysis, and reporting while building strong relationships with internal operational teams and external parties.
Responsibilities :
- Effectively partner with our business units to analyze business and product costs, pricing, supply chains, and inventory.
- Provide financial and business analysis for new products, investments, and acquisitions.
- Assist in continued development and coaching of internal teams in finance-based strategies that result in a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.
- Provide mentorship and performance management to ensure team capabilities align with company needs.
- Oversee cash management, including cash forecasting, reporting, and analysis to meet operational needs.
- Maintain and improve effective finance reporting and communications with Executive management and Owners.
- Oversee the development and execution of operating budgets, finance reports, forecasts, and financial analyses to support business needs.
- Seek and evaluate external financing to support business operations and growth.
- Lead financial analysis of M&A, capital allocation, and portfolio management decisions.
- Help to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local financial regulations.
- Assist in overseeing company-wide insurance coverage and risk management utilizing legal counsel as needed.
- Collaborate with HR to oversee employee insurance and retirement plans.
- Develop strong relationships with banking partners, Advisory Board members, and other financial stakeholders including internal business operators and corporate accounting team.

Compensation :
The starting salary range for this position is between $200,000 - $225,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
