What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Server position at Sugar Pine Catering?
- Work and grow with a high end catering company that focuses on a farm to table environment while using local farms to achieve such goals. Sugarpine focuses on providing the best service possible for our clients with a hard working and dedicated team.
- Run food from the kitchen to the guest tables
- Set up and breakdown of ceremony and dining room as needed
- Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
- Serve plated dinners or family-style platters to guests and respond to requests
- Clean up the venue after the event ends and assist with inventory, design storage, and other closeout tasks
- Look for opportunities to elevate service: fold napkins, fill water glasses, etc
- Arrive on site at the venue's location at the time scheduled.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- Hard worker with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn, grow and take initiative.
- Ability to communicate well with Event Captain as well as other servers and event organizer
- Work weekends and nights
- Willingness to drive to locations such as Denver, Estes, Fort Collins, Idaho Springs and more.
- able to work 8-12 hour shifts on your feet
- Work in a fast pace work environment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
