What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dish position at Sugarfire Smokehouse?
Job Summary: Keep dishes clean and stocked so kitchen can put out food in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures clean trays, utensils, kitchenware, tools, and all other items in our restaurant.
- Ensures each item that is brought to the dish station is properly cleaned, sanitized, and dried.
- Works safely but as quickly as possible without compromising cleanliness.
- Responsible for cleaning the dish station including sweeping and wiping down all equipment.
- Responsible for cleaning the restrooms.
- Assists in the cleanliness of the FOH and BOH.
- Ensures all items are properly clean before putting them into rotation.
- Verifies proper sanitizer with sanitize strips at start of shift.
- Cleans entire station at end of shift; makes sure all equipment is properly shut down.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Adheres to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
