Sugaring NYC Harrisburg is seeking a dedicated Studio Supervisor to lead and support our team while delivering exceptional sugaring services to clients. This role requires a balance of 50% hands-on sugaring services and 50% studio management, including employee training, conflict resolution, and driving client retention and retail sales. The ideal candidate is a skilled esthetician with strong leadership abilities, a passion for customer service, and a proven track record in rebooking, retail sales, and team motivation.
Key Responsibilities
Sugaring Services (50%)
Perform high-quality sugaring services, including Brazilian, full-body, and facial sugaring.
Ensure a luxurious and comfortable client experience, providing expert aftercare advice.
Proactively upsell and rebook clients to maximize retention.
Promote and sell aftercare products to enhance client results.
Maintain a high level of sanitation and hygiene per company and state regulations.
Build strong client relationships, encouraging loyalty and word-of-mouth referrals.
Studio Management & Leadership (50%)
Train, develop, and motivate Sugaristas to provide top-tier services and meet sales goals.
Monitor and improve rebooking rates, ensuring client retention strategies are implemented.
Drive retail sales and educate employees on effective product recommendations.
Manage employee performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support.
Handle conflict resolution professionally, addressing client or employee concerns promptly.
Supervise scheduling, shift coverage, and daily studio operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain studio cleanliness, oversee inventory levels, and place orders as needed.
Assist with marketing initiatives, including in-studio promotions and social media engagement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Licensed esthetician or cosmetologist with sugaring experience (or willingness to be trained).
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in the beauty, wellness, or service industry.
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Exceptional rebooking experience, understanding how to maximize client retention.
Strong retail sales experience, with the ability to train and motivate staff to achieve sales goals.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
