At Sugarloaf Mountain Resort, we are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Overview
Sugarloaf Mountain Resort operates a fleet of vehicles and equipment that require regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance. As a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet, including GM light trucks and vans, SnowCats, groomers, light and medium-duty busses, plow equipment, sanders, and other machinery.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair a diverse range of vehicles and equipment, including lift maintenance, snow machines, mowers, small engines, and snowmaking equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete large-scale projects and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance is essential.
- Shop experience or a technical school degree in a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding and fabrication techniques is desired.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
