Position summary
The Production Line Associate is responsible for helping meet daily production goals efficiently and safely by following all SOPs. The Production Associate interacts with customers, vendors, and co-workers; is accountable for maintaining the production area and providing support for co-workers.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate packaging lines and, or support roles to meet production schedule.
- Monitors that packaging is compliant with product specification.
- Accurately complete all necessary documentation throughout production runs.
- Document when cleaning SOPs are complete.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and follow GMP’s, Food safety, HACCP, and FDA requirements.
- Compliance with SOV’s Safety, Food Safety, Quality systems, SOP’s, GMP’s and policies.
- Provide coverage if needed to support team members.
- Other activities as assigned.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
- Ability to constantly lift (30 -70 lbs.), walk, bend, stretch, stand, reach, talk and hear during the entire shift. Frequently kneel, squat, stoop, twist and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and visual acuity to operate equipment.
- Ability to work in changing temperatures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production or processing is preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety practices, including HACCP and CGMP, is highly desirable.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurement and record keeping.
