Job Summary
We are Sugi Psychiatry and we are looking to recruit an LCSW as our Director of Clinical Services. We have recently been approved as a social worker training site by the Board of Social Workers and we are looking for a motivated LCSW to develop a curriculum for training other social workers. In addition, we are looking to develop IOP programs for our clinic and expect a Director of Clinical Services to build such a program. To aid and assist with this task, we are offering assistance with CEUs and training.
Duties
- Lead and manage the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with training the next generation of social workers
- Oversee the management of medical records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor budgetary expenditures related to clinical services, identifying areas for cost savings while maintaining quality care.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on clinical protocols, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Develop curriculum for three IOP programs: co-occurring substance abuse, adult mental illness and adolescents.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and manage a diverse clinical team effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of social work principles, acute care practices
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulatory requirements
- Expertise in managing medical records with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
