Position Summary
This is an executive level Business to Business food products sales position. The Business Development Manager develops and maintains profitable business relationships with Corporate Level Buyers in the retail, food service, industrial and institutional channels of the food industry primarily in North America. Hybrid work is contingent on location.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales plans and strategies for the marketing of specially surimi seafood products, a new line of plant-based seafood products and a new product line in development.
- Manage existing accounts and develop new client accounts.
- Collaborate with senior management and marketing staff to develop marketing plans, including media and promotional strategy, tactics and collateral
- Participate in corporate headquarters sales presentations, trade shows and end-user presentations.
- Provides senior management with status, performance and budget reports.
- Achieve product and brand distribution goals
- Identifying growth opportunities for our established brands and for our pipeline new products
- Enthusiastic representation of the brand at product demos, corporate events and trade shows
- Clear visibility of account status and your account development efforts through diligent maintenance of our CRM platform
