Job Title : Tack Truck Driver (Distributor Operator)
Overview :
A Distributor Operator is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of an asphalt distributor truck.
Safety Expectations : All Suit-Kote employees are required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times. Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment, employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the safety of the employee, co-workers and others.
Responsibilities / Job Duties :
- Deliver and spray oils and emulsions on road surfaces
- Operator equipment in a safe manner while gauging the output of the product
- Maintenance tasks and mechanical duties (pumps, gauges, valves, etc.) along with activities in elevated-heights.
- Truck loading and unloading
- Use of a handheld spray hose at times
- Changing of spray nozzels

Position is considered full time, but seasonal in nature, with anticipated lay-off in the November thru March time-frame. Site specific locations may have varying seasonal requirements that can extend or contract these timeframes.
Salary Range : $30.50 - $44.29 / hour (Prevailing Wage)
