About the Role
The Event Sales Associate will be the key point of contact for businesses and organizations looking to host events at Suite Shots. You will oversee the full event sales process—from prospecting and booking to coordination and execution—ensuring each event is a seamless experience. This role is ideal for a proactive, relationship-driven salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience booking and managing events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Sales & Booking: Proactively reach out to businesses, organizations and individuals to book events, including corporate outings, networking events, charity fundraisers, and private parties.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and build relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring repeat business. A book of business with established event contacts is highly preferred.
- Event Coordination: Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of events, including venue setup, catering, and special requests.
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue potential clients through outbound calls, emails, networking, and attending industry events.
- Contract & Payment Processing: Guide clients through the contract process, secure deposits, and ensure timely payments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure promotional efforts align with sales goals.
- CRM Management: Track sales activity, client interactions, and event details in our CRM (experience with Tripleseat or SevenRooms is a plus but not required).
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service before, during, and after events to maximize guest satisfaction and retention.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in Event Sales & Coordination: At least 2 years in event sales, hospitality sales, or corporate event planning.
- Established Business Relationships: A strong network of business clients who book events is a significant advantage.
- Sales-Driven & Outgoing: Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and closing deals.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to juggle multiple events at various stages of planning.
- Collaborative & Communicative: Strong interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with both clients and internal teams.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience using CRMs, booking platforms, or event management software is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
