Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Oversee dispatching activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Manage materials management processes to ensure adequate supply levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Conduct sourcing activities for materials and suppliers to support operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics documentation.
- Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading materials.
- Implement Continuous Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to enhance operational reliability.
Experience
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
- Familiarity with freight operations and dispatching processes is highly desirable.
- Experience with 3PL services and NVOCC operations is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials management practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and inventory.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
