Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative (SSVEC) is a cooperative delivering safe and reliable electric service, through people who provide exceptional support to our member-owners and the communities we serve. SSVEC is a not for profit, member‐owned distribution cooperative providing electricity to more than 60,000 services over some 4,100 miles of energized line. Located in southeastern Arizona. SSVEC is seeking a highly organized and technically skilled candidate to fill the Work Order Administrator role to support our Engineering Services team. This position plays a vital role in managing the lifecycle of construction work orders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the coordination between departments like Right-of-Way, Joint Use, Construction, and Accounting. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

- Review and close work orders; ensure compliance with engineering designs.
- Coordinate as-built documentation and mapping efforts with internal teams.
- Assist with right-of-way permits, legal document preparation, and AutoCAD-generated descriptions.
- Support the Joint Use Administrator in utility pole sharing coordination.
- Compile and submit departmental reports, KPIs, and budget tracking updates.
- Provide administrative support to Engineering and other departmental leadership.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree with major course work in a related field; or specialized certificates from Right-of-Way Professional Development courses; or five (5) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient at database management, spreadsheets, and computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, utility operations, and practices. Cooperative policies, and procedures related to this position and an understanding of basic electricity preferred.
- Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across teams.
- Arizona Driver's License.
